A fantastic opportunity to work with a leading global Investment bank, to be part of the Employee Relations team. Provide advice and resolution for complex employee enquiries/issues, deliver HR support to key business projects, assist HR business partners and interact directly with key business stakeholders.
Job description: The successful candidate will have EXCELLENT experience in HR Employee Relations, a solid background of building relationships throughout the company, and proven successes in resolving complex and advanced employee queries.
* You will be expected to review and make recommendations for improvement to an area of HR policy expertise to ensure regulatory compliance, competitive positioning & commercial value.
* You will participate individually and as a part of HR project teams to deliver HR support to strategic and key business objectives across the organisation in London.
* In addition, you will advise HR teams on their potential ER issues and support any business specific initiatives.
* You will also take a lead on and roll out ER projects and policies on an UK/EMEA wide basis.

The organisation is looking for someone who is resourceful, who has the ability to assess risk in employee issues and gain appropriate action, who is an excellent communicator, a results-driven team player and highly motivated individual.
Quals / skills: Graduate qualification with strong HR Employee Relations expertise gained in international, matrix, business environments, preferably if within Financial Services. Knowledge of HR IT systems, e.g. Peoplesoft is preferred.
Plat: Ł61-Ł80k / Ł30-Ł40 ph

Reference checks are typlcaliy done after an interview not before, so that's not the problem.Have you been at your current job only a very short time? If you've only been there a couple of months (or anything less than a year or two really), and are already looking for a new job that is a real warning sign to potential employers that you may do the same thing to them after a couple of months. Other than that, make sure you're well dressed when you drop off your application or resume, and have at least one other person who has a really keen eye for detail look it over before you do. I've tossed a number of applications when working retail for too many spelling mistakes, forgetting to sign the application, filling it out in pencil, etc. As a professional now I've tossed even more resumes for horrible spelling and grammar or just being a really lack-luster resume.
